New Plans

Well I'm beginning to plan for 2022, amidst all of the day to day craziness here. I'm recovering well from knee surgery and my husband is on the road to recovery from DVT. Over the next few weeks I will be solidifying spring breeding plans, taking apart current breeding pens, beginning the long task of getting ready for chicken shows, beginning fall cleaning, and slowly listing the last available birds as I begin to decide on breeders for next spring.

Downsizing Sale

 Yep, I'm finally downsizing. It's been a rough month with my knee surgery and my husband's DVT, so I will be listing birds over the next week or so. I will also be shipping in order to find good homes. First up, lavender Ameraucana cockerels, Belgian d'Uccle cockerels, a d'Anvers quad, and two Watermaal groups!

Four Day Sale!

 A four day sale! These rarely come along, but I want to clear a brooder. So June 3-6 I have Danvers, Watermaal, and bantam Ameraucana on sale! Check out the available page for details!

 UPDATE ON BIRDS

NOTE: Straight run Belgian d'Uccles are almost at an end. I will be growing up most of what I have now, although I have just a few left. If you are looking for a straight run Belgian Belgian d'Uccles, please contact me ASAP. After the next week or so I won't have any until possibly June, and only for a short while then. Then I am concentrating on growing up birds. If you are looking for a boy Belgian d'Uccle or a boy with girls, please contact me ASAP. Those who want a boy receive first priority as I begin to determine who are boys and who are girls. Then I have a list of those who want just girls. That list is probably almost at capacity, but feel free to message me with what you are looking for, and as I go through the lists, I can let you know what I have as babies grow.

Babies going once...

 Babies have been selling out like crazy this year straight from the hatch. So I will not have quite as many grow outs this year, for that reason and because I have several other projects growing that need the space. So if you were looking for something particular, you are more likely to get that with straight run babies. Just letting everyone know since I will not have too many more hatches with d'Uccles this year!

Ayam ketawa need a home

 

I have two little ayam ketawa available to a special home. They should not be breeders but would make wonderful yard pets or flock protectors. Buddy is a sweetheart who likes to sit on your lap. Kind of breaks my heart to have to rehome him. I'm not sure if the other one is a girl or a boy. But both have double inner toenails. The brown with the light brown

head has actual double inner toes. So these two are just looking for a good place to roost.

 A warm welcome to our newest additions - the Barbu de Watermael and Barbu d'Anvers! These darling elegant babies are hard at work. We have goals of developing recessive white, black, mottled, lavender, and lavender mottled Watermael. And we are using our lavender, black, and mottled d'Anvers to make lavender mottled d'Anvers! Well, looks like I have a whole passel of gorgeous boys! Too young for me to know the quality of laughing crows, but I'm going to lighten the load a bit. Good crowing boys are on the market for $250-$500. I'm going to let the boy on the left in the top photo go, and possibly one more - the lower photo. They are good friends so they can go together. Yes it's true! I have three little cuties ready for a new home. Two mille fleur d'Uccles and one sweet pet quality sizzle! All Mareks vaccinated and hand raised, about 8 days old. If you're looking for more, it might be that I could find another mille fleur or two, and possibly a golden neck d'Uccle that are about a week younger.

 I have two darling 5/6 week old mille fleur d'Uccle boys available. They are the sweetest boys and have been babysitting younger d'Uccles and silkies for me. Mareks vaccinated, hand raised, and super healthy. They will make great buddies and flock protectors!

I have a lovely little fellow available! He's a mottled Belgian d'Anvers. I just got him with a group of mottled d'Anvers, but I only need one fellow and I have two. This little guy is a sweet, gentle man, kind to the ladies and always chuckling to them about food. I don't want to sell a girl, but if it gets him a good home, I'd consider it.
