Whats new around the farm?

PAINT & BLACK PAINT SPLIT SILKIE PULLETS FOR SALE!!!

Can't believe I'm going to sell them, but I'm putting my beautiful paints and black paint splits up for sale. This year I've had a few projects going, and I really love the paints, but I'm realizing that I love my d'Uccles, Ameraucanas, and white silkies the best. And since I'm running out of coop space, I'm going to let some of these go. (for those who are new to paints, you get the best spots when you breed paints to blacks that are split to paint.)

$10/chick, 2 for $15

Smooth Roos $10 each or free with purchase of chicks

Frizzle Roos $15 each

When available (none right now): 

girls under 8 weeks old $20 each or 3/$45

girls over 8 weeks old $20-$50, depending on quality and quantity

Every once in a while, we have a special sale, and this is the month. As long as chicks are available,

buy six chicks for $60 and get SIX CHICKS FREE!!!

Yep, that's a deal and a half right there. Comes to $5/chick, which will not be offered very often.

 It takes about a week for us to determine whether a chick is a frizzle - and we are keeping all frizzles right now to make frizzle pullet breeding flocks. So we wait until 6 days after hatch before putting babies up for sale. IF YOU NEED VERY YOUNG CHICKS FOR BROODIES, WE CAN HELP. BUT THERE ARE NOT AS MANY PRICE BREAKS SINCE WE MAY BE SENDING AWAY FRIZZLES! BABIES YOUNGER THAN 6 DAYS ARE $10 EACH. Babies right at 6 days can be put under broodies and are available for the special sale price!

Want a rooster? Contact us and talk - we love to find homes for our boys, but we do need to be very careful, as we do not wish to unknowingly contribute them to the cock or pit fighting community. Show us a good home and we'll show you a great rooster!

LOCAL HONEY AVAILABLE

LOCAL RAW HONEY produced right in our yard by Chris and his bees! After checking around for local prices ($10-$12/pound), we've decided to offer our honey for $7.50/pound ($7/lb if you bring your own container).

We have several types of plastic jars available - the ones in the top photo are all 1lb jars (a quart is about 3 lbs).
